Yes, that is me 15 or 20 years ago… I can’t remember now.  That was way before the water fed pole explosion.  I ran a little successful  window clean route service and I got the idea that i would wties a book to teach other the right way to clean windows fro 6 different angles… And it was going to be all in a new FORMAT… CD-ROM RW!

For a fee any one could not write to a CD and promote their services, the CD’s hold 650 MB… My problem was the slide show I made was 2 Gig and the technology was not made yet to do anything…  I sunk 10K and almost 5 years working off and on the project, “The window Cleaning Guide”.  I was the first to even suggest making a interactive program to teach window cleaning.  I wrote a manual that was 400 pages long.  I just did not have the funding or experience to bring it to the the next level.   When my son was born I put it on the back burners.  Then my idea was became just that… Sitting all my hard drive for years before I would even open it again.

It makes me sick that i did not bring it to market back then… it would of cutting edge… Now with the tech book and internet point and click world them slide show that looks like crap…  Still there is a lot that a newbie can learn from my book so I will post it bit by bit here and you just might learn something… Or you may not… but hey it’s free.

I’m also happy to “officially” announce my participation in this year’s DBSA STAND-UP COMEDY WITH DAVID GRANIRER (SATURDAY, MAY 21, 7:30 pm. – 9:00 p.m.) David Granirer is a stand-up comic and founder of Stand Up for Mental Health. A consumer who lives with Depression, he is also a counselor, speaker, and author. All participants take his customized correspondent stand-up class via conference calls, e-mail, and Skype. This way when all us Newbies get up on stage, we won’t bomb too badly!

Before you get all fearful and think this will put us out of business, hear me out. Unless it walks around the house and takes out the screens and wipes off the sills and scrapes off the real dirt while the homeowner is watching Sports Center, we are safe.

To me it seems like a rip-off from Ungers Visa-versa.  Then again, Vise-Versa looks like a Wagtail… So I guess in our industry it to have the product, it all about selling the product.
